We fire real glass at 800°C

Champlevé enamel: finely ground glass painted by hand into recesses engraved in solid gold, then fired in a kiln until it fuses to the metal.

Not resin. Not a printed transfer. The colour is in the material, so it cannot fade. It is the technique behind Georgian and Victorian keepsake jewellery, and it has not been improved on in two hundred years.
