Many of our 18K gold-filled pieces are waterproof, hypoallergenic, and tarnish-resistant — when a piece is, its product page says so explicitly. Gold-filled means a thick, mechanically bonded layer of real 18K gold — not a thin plating — so those pieces stand up to daily wear, handwashing, and workouts without discoloring or irritating sensitive skin.

Gold-plated has a microscopic gold layer that wears off with regular use. Gold-filled has a gold layer roughly 100× thicker, bonded to the base — it wears like fine jewelry for years at a fraction of the cost. Solid 14K/18K gold is gold throughout: an heirloom that lasts generations. We offer many designs in both gold-filled and solid gold so you can choose your budget.

Yes — lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds; the only difference is origin and price. We also work with moissanite (a brilliant, durable stone in its own right) and lab-grown emeralds, sapphires, and rubies, which is one of the main reasons our fine jewelry costs less than comparable designer pieces.

Two reasons: we sell direct from our studio with no boutique or wholesale markup, and we use lab-grown stones instead of mined ones. The craftsmanship — hand-set pavé, hand-engraved silk textures, custom stone cutting — is the same you'd expect from a luxury house. You're paying for the piece, not the retail chain.

Rigato is a traditional Italian hand-engraving technique that cuts fine parallel lines into gold, giving it the soft sheen of woven silk. Each of our silk-texture pieces is engraved by hand, so no two catch the light exactly the same way.

Five steps: share your idea via our Custom Orders form → we send a quote → we design a sketch for your approval → your stones are cut and shaped to the design → we craft and ship your piece. Nothing is made until you've approved the sketch. Most of our catalog began as someone's commission.

Commissions typically start at $950 and up, depending on the level of customization — metal (18K gold-filled through 14K/18K solid gold), stones, and design complexity. We'll give you an exact quote before anything begins, and payment is due upfront once you approve it.

Around 3–4 weeks from idea to delivery — typically 2–3 weeks after you approve the sketch. We confirm your timeline with the quote.

Yes — custom stone cutting is our specialty. Moissanites, lab diamonds, lab emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and other gemstones can be shaped and sized precisely to your design.

Clean at home with warm, mildly soapy water and a very soft brush, then dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Store pieces separately — wrapped in tissue or cloth when travelling, or in separate compartments of a jewelry box (including separating each earring in a pair). Avoid harsh chemicals like chlorine, perfume, hair products, and soap. Solid gold pieces are made to last for generations.

Open our hoops by pressing down lightly on the thinner portion of the hoop. When closing, listen for the click — that's how you know they're properly secured.

Shipments to the US and Canada are not subject to customs or duty fees — all import duties and taxes are covered, so your order arrives with no additional charges. For other countries, we prepay most duties and taxes on your behalf; you may be asked for a small clearance fee locally, but it should not exceed $50.
